A print ad for local restaurant China Garden. If you’re wondering what basketball has to do with Chinese delivery, it was designed to appear in a high school’s athletic program.
These were the image promos I created to tie into the Scary Sexy marketing. We wanted to release two a week leading up to the actual event. I wanted to create images that were both scary and some that were scary sexy.
First Team’s Rave
This was an idea that I had in my head for a long time and never had a chance to put it to use. This was the last Scary Sexy Soiree promo we released.
Crush’s Thriller
This was a spoof on The Ring, which happens to be one of my favorite scary movies. This was really meant to poke fun of myself more than anything. You’ll understand why after you watch.
First Team’s Scary Story Time
Probably my favorite promo for The Scary Sexy Soiree. The candles and a few silly homemade special effects made the spirit of Halloween a little more light hearted.
First Team’s Paranormal Activity
The first of the comedic video promos for The Scary Sexy Soiree. Paranormal Activity 3 had just been released and I figured I’d make fun of it.
10-28-11
First Team was asked by the owners of Cabo Seafood to host a Halloween event. It was my first involvement with the owners of the restaurant. They were fairly new and they were familiar with our following. We called the event The Scary Sexy Soiree. I put together a “movie trailer” to help promote the event. The idea was to put the trailer out without a whole lot of information to create a buzz. And that’s exactly what happened.
We also followed the original trailer with several shorter promos that had more of a humorous element.
First Team Promoters
As a group, we were asked to help promote and host a night at Cabo Seafood + Bar. For most of the fans and friends that follow myself and the group on social networks, they know that I normally have had a strong negative opinion about club promoters. But, I found myself a little uncomfortable becoming one when it was asked of me. This video concept was spoofing my attitude about promoting.
